Hi, I'm Nathan!
Hi, I’m Nathan — a psychotherapist based in Austin, Texas, and a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work.
I provide affirming, trauma-informed therapy for LGBTQ+, trans, nonbinary, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and nonmonogamous clients who want a space where they do not have to explain or minimize who they are.
Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and grounded in curiosity. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting support with identity, family wounds, relationship patterns, trauma, anxiety, body image, eating disorder recovery, ADHD, or the exhaustion that can come from moving through systems that were not built with them in mind.
I work with adolescents 14+, young adults, adults, and couples in Austin and across Texas through telehealth.
My Approach to Therapy
I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and grounding environment where you can show up fully as yourself. My style is relational and strengths-based — I meet you where you are in the healing process. Therapy with me might include deep reflection, moments of humor, or creative exercises to build insight and confidence.
I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-based therapy, and AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) to tailor our work to your unique needs.

LGBTQ+-Affirming Therapy
Finding a therapist who understands LGBTQ+ identity, gender expansiveness, and relationship diversity can make therapy feel safer and more effective. My goal is to offer a space where your identity is respected from the beginning and where we can focus on what actually matters to you — healing, connection, self-trust, relationships, and building a life that feels more aligned.
Trauma, Relationships & Identity
Trauma often shows up in relationships, self-worth, boundaries, body image, people-pleasing, avoidance, shutdown, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Together, we can explore these patterns with compassion and build tools for emotional regulation, self-understanding, and more secure connection.
My approach is especially supportive for clients who are untangling family dynamics, identity-based stress, relationship wounds, and the impact of chronic invalidation.
