Hi, I'm Kasey!
I’m a licensed master social worker and psychotherapist in Austin, Texas, working under the clinical supervision of Grace Dowd, LCSW-S. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.

I work best with folks who feel like the underdog, the outsider, or the one who never quite fit the mold. Whether you're deeply introspective or just beginning to turn inward, I’m here for the misfits, the sensitive ones, the seekers, and those in the messy middle of becoming. I specialize in working with adolescents (13+), young adults, and adults.

My approach is relational, present-moment-focused, and grounded in parts work (IFS-informed). This means we pay attention to what shows up between us in the room, as it often mirrors what happens outside of it. Therapy with me is collaborative: you’re in the driver’s seat, and I’ve got the map. I’ll offer direction when you need it, but I trust you to know the terrain of your life. And I’ll challenge you when it feels like the moment calls for it.

I’m trauma-informed, highly relational, and not a one-size-fits-all therapist. I don’t rely on rigid protocols or step-by-step techniques. Instead, I draw from a wide range of experiential, creative, and somatic practices, shaped by Eastern philosophy, mindfulness, and ancient wisdom traditions. If you want to work with the body, we can. If you want to sit with silence, explore metaphor, or experiment with something new—I’m game.

How I Help
I bring playfulness, energy, honesty, and warmth to my sessions. My neurodivergence (ADHD) shows up as part of my strength—I’m attuned, creative, and present with you in ways that are alive and flexible. I'll always welcome your feedback along the way, because this is your work, your space, your life.

I’ve worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, family of origin pain, social disconnection, creative blocks, and relationship struggles. My clinical lens includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Buddhist psychology, systems theory, EMDR, mindfulness, and expressive modalities.

Ultimately, I want our space to be one where you feel safe to get real, get curious, and grow—not by becoming someone else, but by reconnecting with the parts of you that have been there all along.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to meet you where you’re at.
