Hi, I'm Emma!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working as a psychotherapist in Austin, TX. I graduated from Baylor University with my Masters in Social Work. I provide individual counseling to children, teens, and adults.
How I Help
My style is calm and non-judgemental. I utilize a solution focused approach while holding space for clients to process in their own way. I also use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to empower clients to take better control of their thoughts and create healthy coping strategies.
Through incorporating DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) in sessions as well, I am able to help clients challenge negative thinking patterns while regulating emotions to feel more level. Sometimes, all we need is someone to listen, this creates space for solution- focused therapy and allows clients to see past the current crisis.
I hope that clients feel safe and welcome during our sessions. I believe being active is great medicine, I love a good walk and talk session. I hope to empower each client I see with the strengths they possess. I hope everyone feels safe and heard when they enter the door.

More About Me
Outside of the office, I am a big foodie - I love trying out new Austin spots with my husband. We love traveling as often as we can. I enjoy going for walks, reading, shopping, and pilates. I love to spend time with my friends and family. I have a small (large) addiction to buying plants and redecorating my house.
